Its purpose is to promote face-to-face interaction, production of videos and online broadcasts, and contribution to the Debian project. Throughout the year, MiniDebConf events are organized around the world to motivate new and experienced contributors locally.

MiniDebConf Campinas 2026 is the seventh edition of the largest Brazilian meeting of Debian users and developers that will take place from April 23rd to 25th, 2026, at the State University of Campinas. The conference will include talks, workshops, sprints and social events.
