ONLYOFFICE integration for Trello: a complete guide
The new ONLYOFFICE Docs integration for Trello is available. Now, you can work seamlessly with documents right from your Trello boards thanks to ONLYOFFICE Power-Up. In this article, we’ll find out what it is and how to set it up.
What is ONLYOFFICE Power-Up for Trello?
Trello is a popular project management tool that helps teams organize tasks and collaborate efficiently. It works thanks to Power-Ups, which are add-ons that increase the functionality of your Trello boards. They allow you to integrate additional features and services directly into Trello, helping you tailor your boards to fit your workflow.
The ONLYOFFICE Power-Up improves your work in Trello by enabling users to view, edit, and co-author office documents directly within Trello cards. Whether you’re collaborating on a report, updating a project plan, or reviewing a presentation, ONLYOFFICE makes it easy to manage documents without leaving your Trello workspace.
Key Features of the ONLYOFFICE Power-Up are:
- Full-featured document editing: Work with DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, PDF (for non-editable formats view-only access is provided) and more using the rich editing capabilities of ONLYOFFICE Docs.
- Real-time co-authoring: Co-edit documents with your team using real-time and paragraph-locking co-editing modes.
- Advanced collaboration tools: Track Changes, comments, and built-in chat facilitate clear communication and efficient collaboration.
Why use ONLYOFFICE integration in Trello
Integrating ONLYOFFICE with Trello makes your workflow fluid by eliminating the need to switch between multiple apps for document management. Here are a few reasons why this integration is key:
Improved productivity: Keep all your project documents in one place, linked to relevant Trello cards, and access them instantly for editing or collaboration.
Secure workflow: ONLYOFFICE Docs provides robust data protection features, including JWT (JSON Web Token) support to ensure secure document access.
Efficient team collaboration: Make the most out of the powerful co-authoring features to work together with your team, reducing bottlenecks in document review and approval processes.
