ONLYOFFICE apps for Odoo updated: PDF forms, Demo Server, improved settings
The latest releases of our integration apps for the Odoo business platforms bring useful enhancements for more comfortable work. Read this post to learn the details.
PDF forms
Form editing and filling is now available in PDF format. This way, there is no need to use any other formats while working with forms, so the process becomes easier.
Odoo Community
Upload PDF forms in any Odoo section where you can upload or attach files such as Sales, Discuss, and others. Open PDF forms for editing or filling using ONLYOFFICE.
Odoo Enterprise
Upload PDF forms to the Documents module. To open them for editing or filling, just select the needed form in the file list and click the ONLYOFFICE icon on the right-side panel.
Advanced server settings for internal addresses
Sometimes your network configuration may not allow requests between Odoo and ONLYOFFICE Docs via public addresses.
In such cases, you can now can set the ONLYOFFICE Docs address for internal requests from the Odoo server and the returning Odoo address for internal requests from ONLYOFFICE Docs.
These fields are optional. If you don’t need to use internal requests, you can leave the fields blank.
Where to find: Home menu -> Settings -> ONLYOFFICE -> General Settings
Connection to the Demo Server
Test ONLYOFFICE Docs by connecting the demo server to Odoo. This feature requires only app installation, with no need to install the editors.
Please note that the demo server is only available for 30 days. It is not recommended to use it for working with sensitive data.

Validation of server settings on the settings page
We added a mechanism that immediately verifies access between ONLYOFFICE Docs and Odoo. This way, you can check if you have configured the integration app correctly. If something is set wrong in the server settings, you will see an error message.
