Become familiar with ONLYOFFICE DocSpace
In a nutshell, ONLYOFFICE DocSpace is a co-working platform intended to boost document collaboration with your customers, business partners, contractors and third parties.
Within this platform, you can create customizable rooms with flexible access permissions. Currently, there are the following permission levels:
- Viewer;
- Commentator;
- Reviewer;
- Form filler;
- Editor;
- Power user;
- Room admin.

Create rooms for different purposes
The first version of DocSpace offers two room types:
- Collaboration rooms – to co-author documents in real time, track changes, communicate right in the docs using built-in chat, Zoom, Jitsi, Telegram, and Rainbow plugins;
- Custom rooms – to apply your own settings and use a room for any custom purpose, e.g. to share the content for viewing only, request reviews or comments, share a form to fill it out online, etc.

Work on any content
ONLYOFFICE DocSpace comes with collaborative editors and viewers, so you can easily work on any content, including text documents, spreadsheets, presentations, fillable forms, e-books, and PDF files. Storing and viewing multimedia files is also available.
Enjoy the advanced security features
In the GDPR-compliant ONLYOFFICE DocSpace, all personal information is treated carefully.
We use the industry-leading AES-256 encryption standard to protect your sensitive data at rest. In transit, traffic is encrypted with the HTTPS protocol.
Flexible access rights and JWT let you entirely control document access. Activity tracking and audit reporting provide traceability.
Additionally, you can adjust security settings available for admins of ONLYOFFICE DocSpace to arrange your work even in a more secure way, including:
- setting password strength;
- enabling 2FA and Single Sign-On;
- trusted mail domains and session lifetime;
- restricting access from specific IP addresses;
- restricting admin messages;
- configuring data backups.

All created rooms are located within your DocSpace platform which is available in a secure public cloud provided by Amazon. The self-hosted version will follow soon.
However, you can always choose a place that you can trust and connect various third-party cloud storage solutions, such as DropBox or OneDrive, to back up your rooms.

You can choose either a free Startup plan or a Business subscription.

The Business plan price is calculated upon the chosen number of admins/power user. Payment follows via the Stripe customer portal.
