Advanced security options
In order to bolster document security and safeguard against unauthorized access, ONLYOFFICE editors leverage the JSON Web Token Secret and JSON Web Token Header. The use of these key security measures can provide a higher level of protection.
With the latest updates, administrators now have the flexibility to configure their own authorization headers for ONLYOFFICE editors connected to Alfresco. This can be done directly on the editors’ settings page, which was previously restricted to regular headers, enabling the implementation of custom non-default headers for enhanced security measures. This way, ONLYOFFICE reinforces its commitment to providing robust security options, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive documents.
