ONLYOFFICE DocSpace plugin v1.1.0 for Drupal: embedding several rooms and files to Drupal pages, DocSpace widget settings and more

We have updated the ONLYOFFICE DocSpace plugin for Drupal to version 1.1.0 bringing some useful improvements. Read this article to learn more about the new version.

Embedding several DocSpace rooms and files to Drupal pages

The newest version of the ONLYOFFICE DocSpace plugin for Drupal allows you to add several DocSpace rooms or files at once to your Drupal page when creating a new article.

DocSpace widget settings

With the new DocSpace widget settings, you are now able to choose whether to display a file added to a Drupal page in the editor frame (available for further editing) or in the embedded mode (available for viewing only). You can also decide which theme, Dark or Light, is turned on in the ONLYOFFICE editors and DocSpace rooms.

To access the DocSpace widget settings, go to Structure on the top toolbar, then choose Content types, find the desired type (in our case, Article) and click on Manage fields. After that, you need to switch to the Manage Display tab, find DocSpace and click the gear-wheel icon.

That’s it. Now you can opt for the desired mode and theme as well as establish the width and height parameters for DocSpace elements. Click on Update and don’t forget to click on the Save button at the bottom of the page.

Improved visualization of DocSpace rooms

If you make the ONLYOFFICE frame wide enough via the Height and Width parameters in the widget settings, all embedded DocSpace rooms will have a table structure with Name, Size and Type. This way, interaction with office files becomes more comfortable for the visitors of your Drupal website as they can easily see what kind of file they are going to open, its format and its size.

Other updates

• Light interface theme for DocSpace in the admin panel;
• Hidden Sign out button for DocSpace;
• Hidden pop-up name requests for anonymous users in the embedded editors.
