Our partner Jalios announces the launch of Jalios Open Suite, a complete cloud-based collaborative office suite. The result of a collaboration between Jalios, BlueMind, and ONLYOFFICE is the most complete French sovereign alternative to the solutions currently on the market.
Jalios Open Suite
Jalios Open Suite is the first sovereign cloud-based collaborative office suite with enough functionality to be a serious alternative to the US players. In this offering, the publisher and its two partners provide enterprises with a suite of communication and collaboration tools that have been tried and tested by millions of users to optimize teamwork.
The offer includes flagship Jalios Workplace components such as JCall video conferencing integrated with Jitsi, Horizon instant messaging, JMail email management and JCalendar integrated with BlueMind messaging, JTask project management, JDoc document management integrated with ONLYOFFICE office suite, and other features already present in Jalios Digital Workplace such as blogs, wikis, notes, forms, collaboration workspaces, community and site-building.
The offer is aimed at all sizes of organizations, from SMEs to major corporations, and is available as a SaaS subscription, with sliding-scale pricing according to the number of users. Jalios Open Suite, which is hosted in data centers in France, is also accessible in the SecNumCloud region, in partnership with 3DS Outscale, and will be available from OVH Cloud later this year.

This sovereign alternative reinforces the “Je choisis la French Tech” (I choose French Tech) plan to which Jalios has also committed, and whose aim is to double public orders and purchases by major groups from start-ups in the French Tech network, of which the publisher is a member.
The offer integrates the office suite offered by ONLYOFFICE, of which Jalios has been a partner since 2019. More than 40 Jalios customers are already using the solution, including major public accounts such as DINUM – Direction interministérielle du Numérique (240,000 users), but also smaller structures from both the private and public sectors.

For videoconferencing, the Jalios Open Suite offer is based on the open-source Jitsi solution, which, integrated with its JCall application, offers a very fluid user path for starting video conferences from several locations: email, web chat, people’s profile sheets, etc. The other functional bricks are provided natively by the Jalios solution, although it is always possible to integrate other solutions if necessary. This capacity for interoperability and openness of the Jalios technical base is one of the editor’s major assets.
The offer also benefits from numerous add-ons available in the Jalios marketplace: digital learning, gamification, machine translation, business EDM integration, etc. It will also soon feature the publisher’s latest innovations, particularly in generative AI. The editor is the first in the French market to integrate generative AI into its offering with its JNLP application, which integrates with the solutions of various players, including sovereign and open-source players. Once again, this approach is made possible by the publisher’s dynamic ecosystem of partners.
