ONLYOFFICE Documents v5.6 for Android released: custom fonts, Autofill and new menu options

Good news, everyone!

The ONLYOFFICE mobile app for Android has been updated to version 5.6. This release comes with performance improvements, support for custom fonts and new useful features in spreadsheets. Keep reading to find out more.

Custom fonts

ONLYOFFICE Documents v5.6 is now compatible with custom fonts. If you use some on your Android device, you can add them to the mobile app by clicking the corresponding button on the Text tab. When added, a custom font can be selected among the default ones.

Where to find: tap the Edit object icon on the top toolbar -> Text tab -> Fonts

Autofill in spreadsheets

The updated version of the app makes it easier to work with data in spreadsheets. Now you can populate cells automatically based on the current selection’s data and format with the help of the AutoFill feature.

To use this option, select one or several cells that you want to use as a basis. Then drag the fill handle and find Autofill in the context menu.

New menu options

Starting from version 5.6, ONLYOFFICE Documents for Android offers new menu options in the interface. After you open any editor, you can quickly access the About and Feedback and support settings.

The Feedback and support option allows you to quickly contact the developers by email and let them know about any bug that you might encounter.

The About option lets you know the version of the editors and more information about the developers.

Better compatibility with Android 13

If you are running Android 13, now you can enjoy a better performance of the ONLYOFFICE mobile app. The source code of the app has been optimized, resulting in better compatibility with the latest version of this operating system.

Other updates

Apart from what has been mentioned before, there are some other important improvements:

• The formula bar is now located at the bottom of the screen;
• Redesigned interface for WebDAV connections;
• Performance improvements and bug fixes.
