Improved document management and data security in ONLYOFFICE connector v6.4.1 for ownCloud
Great news, everyone!
Version 6.4.1 of ONLYOFFICE connector for ownCloud is already here. This update allows you to create new files from the editors, use templates and more. Discover all improvements in this article.
Create new files in the editors
No need to leave ONLYOFFICE to create a new document. Just go to File —> Create new.
Support of custom templates
Add personalized templates and create new documents with their content. Open the Admin settings and go to Additional.
Prepare a template beforehand, upload it, and use as a shape for new files by default.
Restrict copying confidential data
Need to share a file with sensitive information? Now it also means nobody can copy the content to the clipboard and save it in a separate document.
Disable download of your document and copying will be deactivated automatically.
Other improvements
- Opening previous file versions for supported formats only,
- Empty files on Azeri, Slovak, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese,
- ONLYOFFICE Docs v5.5 and earlier versions are no longer supported.
