ONLYOFFICE announces integration with agorum software GmbH

We are glad to share with you that ONLYOFFICE has entered a partnership with a German company agorum software GmbH, a developer of the open-source ECM agorum core. With ONLYOFFICE editors integrated, agorum users are able to edit and collaborate on office documents online.

agorum® Software GmbH is a German developer company based in Ostfildern near Stuttgart.

With more than a 20-year experience, agorum helps companies of all sizes with the integration of DMS directly into the customers’ IT environment.

The company has made a name for itself as a manufacturer of agorum core, one of the leading open-source enterprise content management systems. agorum core contains many practical standard modules that can also be flexibly adapted to various user needs.

To use ONLYOFFICE online editors within agorum core, an instance of ONLYOFFICE Document Server is required. agorum core supports all available ONLYOFFICE server editions: Community and Enterprise / Integration / Developer Edition.

The plugin ‘agorum core ONLYOFFICE’ is available starting from the version 9.4 of agorum core and can be easily installed using the agorum core plugin manager.

With ONLYOFFICE editors embedded in the web interface of agorum core, users are able to access documents directly from the Information Center and Smart Assistant.

Collaborative document editing

You can edit and co-author documents, spreadsheets and presentations of all popular formats, including docx, xlsx, pptx, odt, csv, etc. All the changes are displayed in real time to all users and saved automatically.

Automatic versioning

After each backup, agorum core automatically creates a new version of the edited document in the background. With the resulting history, you can restore the previous version at any time.

Templates

You can define individual templates so that you don’t always have to start all over again when creating frequently used document types. With a dynamic authorization structure, you can easily control what templates are available for each department.
